Timloc Building Products Help The Get Busy Living Project

Timloc Building Products, part of Alumasc Group Plc, has proudly donated loft doors to the Get Busy Living project, in partnership with Davidsons Homes.

The Get Busy Living Centre is home to the Matt Hampson Foundation, a charity founded by its namesake to provide treatment and support to young people seriously injured through sport. Matt Hampson chose to get busy living after sustaining a life-changing injury whilst playing rugby in 2005. “Get busy living” remains the philosophy that drives everything the Matt Hampson Foundation does.

The foundation recently partnered with Davidsons Homes to construct 2 rehabilitation bungalows at the Get Busy Living Centre in Leicestershire. Once complete, the bungalows will enable beneficiaries to continue treatment without having to travel to and from the Centre each day.

Stephen Parker, Southern Regional Sales Manager at Timloc, delivered the loft doors to the project, commenting: “When we were approached by Davidsons Homes, we were only too happy to help out on such a worthwhile project. As an avid rugby supporter, the project holds a close place in my heart and I have a great deal of admiration for all those involved.”

Stephen was greeted on site by former professional England rugby union player, Louis Deacon, who gratefully received the donation on behalf of the charity.

Chris Wood, Buying Manager at Davidson Homes, who initially approached Timloc regarding the donation, said: “We are hugely appreciative of the kind donation from Timloc Building Products. It is fantastic to be able to work together with other companies to achieve the same goal and help to enrich the lives of those who have experienced a life-changing injury.”
