Tiny Tickers, is a small but ambitious charity with a remarkable history of helping improve the detection, care and treatment of infants with critical heart conditions.
Founded by esteemed fetal cardiologist Professor Helena Gardiner, Tiny Tickers aim to identify and assist infants with heart conditions at the earliest possible stage. Over the past two decades, the UK’s average antenatal detection rate of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) has risen from 23% to just over 50%. Tiny Tickers is determined to push this figure further to a 75% detection rate.
Tiny Tickers provides specialist training to sonographers doing 20-week pregnancy scans – the best chance to spot most heart problems before birth.
The charity holds a special place for the manufacturer due to its personal affiliation with their Northern Regional Sales Manager, John Wright.

She spotted that our soon-to-be baby boy had an issue with his heart and therefore we were able to get the right advice, put a plan in place and make sure that our baby boy had the best chance of surviving.”
