Award-Nominated Hedgehog Charity Receives Essential Supplies from Timloc

Date Posted: 30th September 2026

Timloc Building Products has continued its support for hedgehog rescue Arry4Hogs by donating £200 worth of essential items to help the organisation care for and rehabilitate hedgehogs in need.

The donation included a range of supplies requested by the charity, including hedgehog food and wooden shelters. While the food will help support the day-to-day care of rescued hedgehogs, the wooden shelters will be placed at release sites, providing hedgehogs with a safe base and shelter as they transition back into the wild following rehabilitation.

Based in Birmingham, Arry4Hogs works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate and release injured and orphaned hedgehogs, helping to protect one of the UK’s most loved yet increasingly vulnerable species. The charity’s dedication was recently recognised through a nomination for a BBC WM Make a Difference Award in the Animal category, highlighting the positive impact its volunteers have on local wildlife. Although they did not take home the award, being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement and testament to the important work they carry out.

This latest donation builds on Timloc’s previous support of Arry4Hogs. In July, the company donated 100 Hedgehog Highways to help create safer routes for hedgehogs and encourage wildlife-friendly spaces in gardens and communities.

Isobel Cooke, Senior Marketing Executive from Timloc Building Products said:

“We’re proud to extend our support to Arry4Hogs and the incredible work their team does for hedgehogs. Through every Hedgehog Highway sold by Timloc, we make a donation to hedgehog charities and rescue organisations across the UK, with Arry4Hogs being one of the charities we’re pleased to support. The charity relies heavily on donations to keep its rescue and rehabilitation efforts running, so we were delighted to provide some of the practical items needed to help care for the hedgehogs in their care.”

Sharon Baker Founder of Arry4Hogs added:

“Support from businesses like Timloc makes a real difference to the work we do. Donations of food, shelters and other essential supplies help us continue providing the best possible care for hedgehogs as they recover and prepare to return to the wild.”

As part of its ongoing Hedgehog Highway campaign, Timloc remains committed to raising awareness of hedgehog conservation and supporting organisations that are making a positive difference for wildlife across the UK.
