On the 29th May, 2022, three team members of Timloc Building Products part of the Alumasc Group Plc completed a 15,000ft tandem skydive.
All in aid for Timloc Building Products charity partner Hull 4 Heroes, General Operative Chris Owen (left), Marketing Manager Kirsty Harrop (middle) and Customer Service Supervisor Heather Crookes (right) joined the charity skydive event to raise money.
The 15,000ft tandem skydive took place with Skydive Hibaldstow, North Lincolnshire along with five other participants raising money for Hull 4 Heroes.
Kirsty Harrop commented:
“It was great to get involved with everyone and raise money for such an amazing cause. They are a local charity that provides veterans and their families with a range of support, including, mental well-being, mentoring, employment, and housing, to help make the transition back into civilian life as smooth as possible.”
Heather Crookes added:
“I was super excited to sign up for the skydive, what an amazing experience to tick off the bucket list.”
Team Timloc collectively managed to raise an amazing £1,000 for the organisation who are looking to start construction of the UK’s first transitional Veterans Village.
Now safely with feet back on the ground all three members of Team Timloc said they would do it all again.
Chris Owen added:
“It was an amazing experience that you can’t quite explain how you feel, especially freefalling. This is definitely something I would like to do more of and will 100% encourage anyone who is considering a skydive to do it. You will not regret it!”
